Two-way traffic ahead
A yellow diamond showing two opposing arrows warns of two-way traffic ahead. It is common where a one-way street or a divided road returns to two-way working.
When you see it
- ◆ Expect oncoming traffic and keep well to the left.
- ◆ Do not overtake unless you can see the road is clear.
- ◆ Take extra care at the point where the road changes back to two-way.
- ◆ Watch for vehicles pulling out to overtake towards you.
