Sharp bend to the left
This yellow diamond warns of a sharp bend to the left ahead. The arrow shows the direction the road turns so you can adjust your speed and position before entering it.
When you see it
- ◆ Reduce speed before the bend, not while in it.
- ◆ Stay well to the left and do not cut the corner.
- ◆ Brake on the straight; ease off as you steer through.
- ◆ Be ready for oncoming traffic that may be crossing the centre line.
